Dissolution, 2013

Dissolution is an installation that transforms the physical architecture of Lisser Hall into filter for sound.  Utilizing eight bass shakers which are attached to the catwalk above the main theater, the building becomes the speaker through which two compositions of deconstructed voice are played against one another.  These loops of varying length come together to create an ever changing soundscape, drawing attention to both the fragility and unpredictability of the body and the mind.
